Trepanning is a process whereby a hole (bore) is created in a part whilst also producing a "core". This process is ideal for boring the more expensive alloys as the core is returned to the customer who can then re-use it on a smaller component, resulting in a significant cost advantage.
Our trepanning range covers a bore size of 74mm up to 255mm and we are experienced in trepanning all grades of material especially the more difficult nickel alloy grades
